Fundraising Gift Shop
I also have a gift shop that sells different products for pets and pack leaders. 80% of the profits from that store go to Long Living Pets Rescue and Rehab Center.
Why am I doing that? I have found over the years that it is difficult to do a successful fundraiser. I'm also not good at asking for money, I admit that. People are extremely skeptical and careful when it comes to nonprofit organizations and their campaigns. I get that because I am too.
Raising funds through selling products is, therefore, a better way for me. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have Long Living Pets Rescue and Rehab Center funded with donations. I think a combination of donations and the sale of products may get the center funded faster.
